Nottingham Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan – April 2024

What a blast! The Sikh Motorcycle Club UK rolled into the Nottingham Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan on Sunday, April 21st, for an unforgettable celebration of faith, community, and culture.

As this was our second year participating, the event held special meaning for all our members. The procession was impeccably organized, with perfect weather adding to the joyous atmosphere. The sangat (community) was warm and welcoming, creating an environment filled with love, positivity, and shared devotion.

The day wouldn’t have been complete without the delicious langar (community meals), offered generously by numerous stalls. These meals provided more than sustenance—they embodied the spirit of Seva (selfless service) that lies at the heart of Vaisakhi celebrations.

A highlight of the day was reconnecting with old friends while also forging new bonds. We were thrilled to welcome six new members into our club during the event. Their enthusiasm and the overwhelming support from the community made this an especially meaningful experience.

Adding to the excitement, the entire event was filmed by Sikh Channel, Akaal Channel, and PBC Channel, ensuring that these precious moments are shared widely.

This year’s Nottingham Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan was truly unforgettable, and we are already looking forward to next year’s celebrations!
