Sikh Motorcycle Club UK Pays Respects at Remembrance Day Service – November 2023

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, the Sikh Motorcycle Club UK proudly participated in the Remembrance Day service held at Victoria Park, Leicester. A particularly noteworthy moment in Sikh military history is the Battle of Saragarhi, where 21 Sikh soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice while defending their post. In recognition of their selfless sacrifice, these soldiers were awarded the Indian Order of Merit, the highest gallantry award at the time. Their legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the Sikh community’s dedication to service, honour, and sacrifice.
